Dislasystem on this one here with some of that dirty hip hop and breakcore hybrid beat construction shit, the type of shit that takes me back to mid 90s dive bars and side rooms at illegal rave parties. It’s just playful and experimental enough to keep from being middle of the road as well as noisy and raw enough to keep from becoming what you expect based on description alone. It’s some really peculiar and awesome gritty percussion and quirky sampling that is both dirty back alley gangster and outer space cyborg overload and everything in between, a little rough around the edges in a way that makes you know this motherfucker ain’t giving a shit what you think - grindthieves.com
